At St. Gabriel Health Clinic, we’re committed to providing comprehensive, affordable health care to the communities of Iberville Parish and surrounding areas. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we serve individuals and families regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. Our mission, history, and dedicated team reflect a deep-rooted commitment to improving community health and reducing disparities.

Our History

Founded in 1993 and designated a nonprofit in 1994, SGHC became an FQHC in 2002. Our purpose from the beginning has been clear: to offer essential health services to underserved residents. With seven locations—including school-based and community-based sites—we work closely with community partners and health institutions to deliver quality care across southeastern Louisiana.

SGHC is recognized for its achievements, including the Health Center Quality Leader award and Target BP Program recognition from the American Heart Association.
